The Vacation Payment Plan from MGM Resorts Vacations makes it easy to plan your dream Las Vegas Vacation and stick to your budget. You’ll make a deposit at time of booking, and then spread your payments out before your trip, or select a future date and we’ll automatically take the final payment on the date you choose. Plan your trip 2 or more months in advance to take advantage of this unique option. 

There are two convenient ways to make your payments:

  • Email Reminders: We’ll email you on the date you choose to remind you to log in and make your payment. With this option, you can spread your payments out across multiple cards, or log in at your convenience to apply payments over time.
  • Automatic Final Payment: Select a date that works for you, and we’ll charge your card for the balance due on that day.

Vacation Payment Plan Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the Vacation Payment Plan?

Plan your vacation as you normally would, including any show tickets, tours, rental cars and other components you’d like. If you’re traveling more than 2 months in advance and your vacation cost is higher than the required deposit amount, the Vacation Payment Plan option will appear on Checkout Step 3 in the “Final Payment” section:

  • Schedule your Automatic Final Payment
    The amount to be scheduled will appear. Select a payment date (not less than 45 days before your departure date) and your credit card will automatically be charged on that date. If you’ve entered multiple credit cards for your initial deposit, select the corresponding number in “Payment #” – a “1” in this box will charge the first credit card listed, “2” will charge the second credit card listed, and so on.

If you’d like to make several payments over time, or charge the final payment on multiple credit cards, use the second option:

  • Schedule an Email Reminder
    This option will send you one reminder email on the date selected, no less than 47 days before travel. This automated email will remind you to log in to the account you created during the booking process to enter credit card information and complete payment on your vacation.

You may log into your account and apply multiple payments over time, or pay using multiple credit cards. All payments must be completed no less than 45 days before departure.

Does my vacation qualify for the Vacation Payment Plan?

If you’re planning your vacation more than 2 months before travel, and your vacation cost meets the deposit requirements, you will qualify for the Vacation Payment Plan. You will see deposit information on Checkout Step 3 of the reservation process.

What if I don’t want to use the Vacation Payment Plan?

You may pay for your vacation in full at time of booking. Simply change the Payment Amount in Checkout Step 3 to the total package price and your full payment will be processed when you click the “Complete Booking�� button.

How are deposits calculated?

Deposits include a portion of both your air and hotel costs, plus the full cost of any show tickets, insurance, or other features you may select.

I’m booking 2 or more months In advance – Why don’t I see the Vacation Payment Plan option on Checkout Step 3?

There is one main reason for this – you’re getting a great deal on your vacation! Sometimes the minimum deposit rules will cover your full air and hotel costs. This will most likely happen in situations like these:

  • You’ve chosen a short hotel stay – only one or two nights
  • You’ve selected a midweek stay when hotel rates can be lower than weekend rates

Additionally, some special holiday or convention periods require full payment at time of booking. This happens most frequently around New Year’s as well as during citywide conventions in Las Vegas.

Will Change or Cancellation Penalties still apply if I use the Vacation Payment Plan?

Yes. You will still be subject to all change or cancellation penalties outlined in the Terms and Conditions, as well as any supplier penalties should you wish to change or cancel your vacation.

What if I want to pay for some or all of my vacation before the Automatic Final Payment date?

You are welcome to pay for some or your entire final amount due before the Automatic Final Payment date. You can do this either by logging in to the account you created at time of booking or by calling us at 1-800-360-7111.

We will subtract these payments from your total amount due. If any balance remains after your interim payments, only the balance amount will be charged to your credit card – we will never overcharge you!

What is an E-Confirmation? When will I receive this?

An E-Confirmation is a summary of the trip you just purchased. It will include your Reservation ID and the deposit amount paid, as well as the amount of the balance due. You’ll receive this via email after making your initial payment.

What is an E-Travel Document? When will I receive this?

An E-Travel Document is your formal travel document with all trip components. It will contain hotel check-in information, flight-specific information and redemption information for any transfers, cars or activities you may have purchased. This will be emailed to you when full payment is received.

How do I make changes to my reservation?

Changes to your reservation can be made by calling 1-800-360-7111. Depending on the nature of your changes, additional payments may be due at the time of the change. Your Customer Care agent will always reiterate the outstanding balance. This new amount is what will either be charged to your credit card on your final payment date or will be due when logging in to your account.
